近期，加州環境健康危害環保評估辦公室（OEHHA）提議修改加州65法案中現有的警告標簽要求。加州65法案規定，人們在從事商業活動中，如果存在“明顯或意圖暴露已知的可能產生致癌、生殖毒性危害”的情況，相關負責人須提供警告標簽。
修訂案對警告標簽的內容和格式做了修改，提出了更多的要求和具體指引，并更加詳細地指明了警告標簽的提供方式。同時，修訂案還增加了關于警告標簽的提供責任人章節。
此外，修訂案還規定如果產品含有下列這12種化學品時，必須將這些化學品的名稱顯示在警告標簽中：丙烯酰胺、砷、苯、鎘、一氧化碳、三（1,3-二氯異丙基）磷酸酯、甲醛、六價鉻、鉛、汞、二氯甲烷、鄰苯二甲酸酯。
此修訂案的公眾評議期截止到2015年4月8日；修訂內容將在修訂案正式發布的兩年后開始實施。
